If you’re looking around for a new or second hand car that can give you the best mileage, here’s a list that can help you find the top 10 most efficient cars when it comes to MPG and fuel use. I’ve separated it into categories: import, home-grown and I’ve even found a few SUVs that are more fuel efficient than most if you can’t give up the feel of a big, beautiful car.

If you’ve been listening to the hype these past few years, then you know a bit about hybrid vehicles. Researchers have been looking for ways for us to reduce gasoline consumption, since gas is not a renewable resource. But do they live up to the hype?
